Honda Service Week

The Hands of Hope Food Pantry, the Central Jersey Blood Center and Open Road Honda are all teaming up to bring you a blood drive and community day for all to participate in. We want to direct focus towards non-profit organizations that make daily sacrifices to better our community. The event will have snacks, Dj's and giveaways so it is sure to be a fun time.

In case you wanted to know why we believe holding this event is so important, here are some quick facts.

• Last year Hands of Hope Food Pantry helped feed 9,464 men, women and children by distributing 3,844 food bags to families. They also helped provide hot lunches for over 4,388 people.
• Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.
• Approximately 36,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in the U.S.
• Nearly 7,000 units of platelets and 10,000 units of plasma are needed daily in the U.S.
